MMA Model Agency FAQ’s.
Are professional images required to apply?
No, not to apply. However, if accepted we would require suitable high quality studio images which should be front facing with no filters or airbrushing applied. A selection of front facing headshots, mid length shots & full length shots would be required taken over three outfit changes. We recommend using Model Portfolio Photography in Manchester although you can use any professional model photographer.
How old do I have to be to apply to MMA?
We represent models, actors & talent of all ages from newborn child models up to 65+ years old. If you are under 18 years old then please include your parent or guardian’s details in your application or we may not respond.
Where will the modelling or TV work take place?
We are a Manchester based modelling & casting agency; therefore, many of our clients are also based locally in & around Manchester Town Centre, North West England. In addition to our local Manchester clients we regularly receive requests from all over the UK & even abroad looking for new, fresh talent of all ages. Travelling expenses are always negotiated when distance becomes a factor.
How much will I get paid?
This depends on the work you do & the client. Full details of each job are always provided to you prior to the assignment taking place. The absolute minimum we charge our clients when booking our models is £75 per hour.
How much of the fee does MMA take?
We take a standard 20% commission from all modelling & TV jobs that we successfully place our models, child models, actors & promotional models in.
Do you guarantee work for models & actors?
No, we cannot guarantee work for the modelling & TV talent we represent, no agency should do this & it would be wrong to do so. However, that said, we will only accept new models, child models, actors, extras & promotional brand models onto our agency books if we honestly believe they have clear potential to be placed in work with our valued & established clients whilst also showing a strong commitment to do so.
Can I be represented by more than one model agency or TV Casting agency?
Yes, We offer non-exclusive contracts to the majority of our talent, models & actors meaning they can also be represented freely by other non-exclusive model agencies & casting agencies with no restrictions.
